2) Millennium of poetry there, that God did give to me.
More now than then, the boys thought, poetry was sissy.
''I'll try anything just once'', I thought to myself.
At first, I thought my effort would, be stuck on the shelf.
3) Millennium of poetry there, that God did give to me.
Thinking of what I should write, The Lord spoke to me.
The first poem ''A Friend For Life'', where it all began.
''Dying there for all his friends; great love has no man''.
4) Millennium of poetry there, that God did give to me.
I could hear the Devil whisper ''you can't write poetry''.
Indeed, I got two lines, was stuck; so I set it aside.
Yet soon after, twenty lines, The Lord did provide.
5) Millennium of poetry there, that God did give to me.
As the saying there does go, ''the rest is history''.
A ministry there for the saved, and witness to the lost;
That Jesus Christ died for all, to pay sins burden cost.

The collection ''Soar With Jesus - My Testimony''.
The name from square dance belt buckle, that long ago, I bought.
The hobby, good exercise, and friendships I had sought.

I started adding music to, the lyrics that would be.
At times doing mini concerts, sharing of this gift;
In grateful praise to The Lord, my voice there, did lift.

The sacred ones with Scripture verse; of those, are plenty.
Then, there's tribute poetry to, folks there in my life.
To my late parents, many friends, and for my late wife.
9) Millennium of poetry there, that God did give to me.
Other hobbies that I'd do, that bring joy to me.
Square Dancing, Ham Radio, Computer BBS.
I give Glory To The Lord; I can do nothing less.

Even set of limerick verse, to a pig, Smokey.
That a fellow ham did raise, though it one day, killed.
To feed scores of hungry souls, their appetite was filled.

At times, I would have dry spell, then it flowed full and free.
While no longer writing music, the message is the theme.
Christ lived and died and rose again, in God's Perfect Scheme.

Some of them, convicting there, for me, personally.
Christians saved by Grace Through Faith, not of works to boast.
The choice to believe on Christ; all these cherish most.

As I look back on all of them, I give Christ, Glory.
My righteousness as filthy rags, there before The Lord.
For His Word is sharper than any two edged sword.

''Lord, you deserve these crowns and praise, so much more than me''.
What gold, silver, precious stones, there for me, a crown.
At His Feet, in humble praise, I will them, lay down.

I will lay these at His Feet, there in eternity.
Joining there with the redeemed, with all voices raised;
That Jesus Christ, My Friend For Life, is worthy of all praise.

All are on my homepage there; shown for all to see.
For where one's treasure is, there resides one's heart.
The joys God has for His Own, there from eternal start.

Until death or rapture there, the time God gives to me.
I'll keep writing poetry there, as long as He provides.
I pray it reaches souls for Him, both near and far and wide.

The message that salvation's gift, it is full and free.
It there is available, for Gentiles and Jews.
Yet, God gave mankind free will; every soul, must choose.

At my death or rapture there, His Face, I will see.
The words are so inadequate, just to say ''Thank You''.
Accepting Him, and Serving Him; the least that I could do.

I pray I'll write more for Him, there in eternity.
Ever since it all began, in high school English class.
I never thought a thousand poems, there would come to pass.
