The Will Of The Lord

''The Will Of The Lord''

Written By Daryl Stout

1) The Will Of The Lord, is what determines, How all events do occur.
For He is Soverign, over all of creation... Everything clear, and not blurred.
His will to be done, no matter what people, Think He should do in their life.
It's when they conflict, with His Divine Will, That their days fill with strife.

2) The Will of The Lord, direct or permissive, Determined by prayers of the saints.
He sees all things, in everyones lives... Both the good spots, and the taints.
God didn't want robots, so free will was given, To all created that day.
And, yet...God knew, that some would forsake Him, And run toward evil filled ways.

3) The Will of The Lord, omnipotent there, And omnipresent as well.
As well as omniscient, He knows all things, Creating both Heaven and Hell.
For whether it's done, in secret or not, He sees all things there with His Eyes.
And, whether they're good, or evil things there, He isn't caught by surprise.

4) The Will of The Lord, not wanting there, For anyone dying in sin.
Wanting instead, to come to repentance, By humble faith there in Him.
Believing on Jesus, His Only Son, The Truth, The Life, and The Way.
The Lamb Of God, died for mankind, On Calvary, all sin to pay.

5) The Will Of The Lord, accomplished on Calvary, Climaxed that day at the Tomb.
When Christ resurrected, and Satan defeated, The saved now, no more, there were doomed.
One day, He'll return, in Power and Glory, To rule over all of the Earth.
And those there with Him, will be all those, Who have received The New Birth.

6) The Will of The Lord, in still, small voice, Heard there in humble prayer.
There at His Feet, The Great Throne Of Grace, Lay all your woes and your cares.
For His yoke is easy, His Burden is light, Compared to what we endure.
For The Foundation of faith is in Christ, He is our hope, to be sure.

7) The Will of The Lord, is calling you now, If you don't know Him as Lord.
For He will judge all, there with His Word, Sharp as a two edged sword.
Admit you're a sinner, yourself you can't save, Ask Him to save your soul.
His Blood will cleanse you, as you in your life, Now give Him total control.

8) The Will Of The Lord, He won't wait forever, For all mankind to repent.
For one somber day, His Grace there will end, And full anger there will be sent.
And to those facing Him, on that sad day, The Judgment Of The Great White Throne.
Sadly, He'll tell them ''Depart from me now... For you, I've never known''.
