2) What lies ahead, the joy set before Him, as Christ to The Cross, He there went.
The pain He'd endure, there in our place, the mission from God, He was sent.
Beaten and scourged, tortured and mocked, on that Cross there crucified.
For there was God's Gift, that while we were sinners, Christ Jesus there bled, and died.
3) What lies ahead, after His Death, on the third day, from the tomb.
Christ rose from the dead, victory won, freeing mankind from sins doom.
Ascended to Heaven, but coming again, in Power and Glory He'll Reign.
King Of All Kings, Lord of All Lords, Christ Jesus, The Precious Sweet Name.
4) What lies ahead, for soul repentant, who recognizes their need.
There before Christ, believing by faith, His Precious Blood, they do plead.
The troubles and heartaches of life on Earth, will pale when these see His Face.
Praising The Lamb, who died for us all, thankful to God for His Grace.
5) What lies ahead, precious to God, the earthly death of his saints.
Cleansed by Christ's Blood, forever with Him, and without blemish or taint.
Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor entered there into mans heart.
The blessings prepared for all the redeemed, when Christ gave their lives a new start.
6) What lies ahead, for those who reject Him, when these die in their sins, there one day.
Eternal suffering, for they rejected, The Truth, and The Life, and The Way.
Tortured by demons, and all alone, with all evil souls that there lived.
They chose to spurn, God's Free Love Gift, their life to Christ, would not give.
7) What lies ahead, these terrified, there before Christ's Righteous Throne.
Without excuse, they are condemned, the error they made, it is shown.
To late now to pray, to repent of their sin, God's Grace for them is long done.
The Lake Of Fire, eternal torment, for all who rejected God's Son.
8) What lies ahead, the choice is now yours, the words in this poem you have heard.
All is contained, therein the pages, of God's Righteous, Holy, Blessed Word.
You'll face one of these, and where you go, in your response to Christ's Voice.
Choose today, friend, whom you will serve; I pray you will make the right choice.
