2. Precious as these things are, one thing outshines them all...
''The Greatest Story Ever Told'' began at mankinds fall.
From purity and innocence, to evil thoughts and gall,
Man fell from grace, and sin replaced the beauty of it all.
3. Precious was all Creation, from God's Loving Hand...
The many creatures, plants, and things, then on the sixth day, MAN.
Adam, then his helpmate, Eve, tilled the earthen land;
Perfect, until sin appeared, and made its ugly stand.
4. Precious was the Love of God, even with mans sin.
He sent His Son to die for us, while we rebelled to Him.
Prophecies foretold His Birth, a stable in Bethlehem;
A manger was his bed, for there was no room at the inn.
5. Precious was This Little Child, that shepherds came to see.
They bowed in worship, praising God, with all on bended knee.
Presenting gifts to the King, for they all believed
That He would change all history with what he would achieve.
6. Precious as He grew in life, doing the Father's Will;
Knowing that by the hands of men, He'd suffer, and be killed.
Salvation gained for all mankind by the Blood He'd spill.
But He'd rise again that Easter morn, defeating death's dark chill.
7. Precious is our Saviour, Lord, Jesus Christ, God's Son.
His Name, His Life, His Blood shed there made the victory won!!
For when He died, He shouted from that Rugged Cross ''It's Done!!''.
And He lives today, with outstretched Hands, waiting for all to come.
8. Precious are those nail scarred Hands that reach in love to you.
He wants you so, He gave His All, what more could He do??
King of Kings, Lord of Lords, The Way, The Life, The Truth;
Accept Him now, He loves you so, Gentile or a Jew.
9. Precious is the time at hand, for it's almost past.
Soon, He'll return in Glory, and then peace will ever last.
Death comes so quick and final, friend; don't let the die be cast
Against you for rejecting Him...it can happen, oh so fast!!
10. Precious that decision is that you can make today.
Make Him Lord of your life, and please don't delay.
He paid the huge debt on the Cross, one we can't repay.
He lived, He died, and rose again, so we could be saved.
