Nothing That Defiles

''Nothing That Defiles''

Written By Daryl Stout

1) In Heaven, there will be, nothing that defiles.
No more crying, sadness; only happy smiles.
As the redeemed gather, there before The Throne;
They give worthy praise, to Jesus Christ alone.

2) In Heaven, there will be, nothing that defiles.
No tribulation see, from life's earthly trials.
No more pain or death; these things have passed away.
Just worship of The Lord; The Truth, The Life, The Way.

3) In Heaven, there will be, nothing that defiles.
No decay or trash, there for endless miles.
No sin or corruption, will enter in that place.
Eternal home to all, partakers of God's Grace.

4) In Heaven, there will be, nothing that defiles.
While our backgrounds come, from many different styles.
Now joined in marriage there, to Our Lord, The Groom.
The Bride Of Christ, The Church, in that Heavenly Room.

5) In Heaven, there will be, nothing that defiles.
No malicious thoughts, or evil words beguiled.
Now all there in Christ, our sisters and our brothers;
We see what life is like; when all love one another.

6) In Heaven, there will be, nothing that defiles.
Prepared for us that day, when we walked the aisle.
Turning from our sin, accepting Christ as Lord.
For His Word is sharper, than a two edged sword.

7) In Heaven, there will be, nothing that defiles.
Those rejecting Jesus, in their lives, so vile.
They won't enter in, as they loved sins desires.
They will burn eternally, in The Lake Of Fire.

8) In Heaven, there will be, nothing that defiles.
Death comes without warning, a very little while.
Tomorrow may not come, accept The Lord today.
Or, torment yours forever, as you; your sin to pay.
