The Freedom Of Religion

''The Freedom Of Religion''

Written By Daryl Stout

1) The Freedom Of Religion...oh, the truth of these words here.
Forefathers of America, they held these words so dear.
To Praise And Worship The Creator, directed by His Word.
Not by sinful mans decrees, the rituals there, absurd.

2) The Freedom Of Religion...worship God in their own way.
Led there by the Holy Spirit, each and every day.
To preach the Gospel to mankind, that Christ redeemed the lost.
When they accept His Free Love Gift, and death on Calvary's Cross.

3) The Freedom Of Religion...on the one thing God requires.
Believe on Christ, who He has sent; to quench sins evil fires.
Christ's Life, Death, Resurrection, for every soul and nation.
But freedom from sin lost, if they neglect so great salvation.

4) The Freedom Of Religion...sadly, some misunderstand.
Refusing to be cleansed by Blood, shed from Christ's pierced Hands.
It's freedom from religion, that all these people crave.
Rejecting Christ's death, and His Resurrection from the grave.

5) The Freedom Of Religion...these words here, the unsaved spurn.
Refusing to believe God's Word, and from their sin to turn.
Thinking Heaven's guaranteed, the moment of their death.
But these will be horrified, on taking their last breath.

6) The Freedom Of Religion...to mankind, God gives a choice.
You can repent now of your sin, and hearken to His Voice.
For freedom of a life of sin, with Christ in control.
He's waiting, friend; just ask Him now...and He'll save your soul.

7) The Freedom Of Religion...friend, the time is short to choose.
For at death, if nothings done, and Christ, you refuse.
Before Him there on Judgment Day, at The Great White Throne.
He'll cast you in The Lake Fire, as one He's never known.
