Righteousness Exalts A Nation

''Righteousness Exalts A Nation''

Based on Proverbs 14:34

Written By Daryl Stout

1) Righteousness exalts a nation, and its people there.
But sin is a reproach to all, whether or not they care.
The Earth, it belongs to The Lord, the lands and every sea.
Created there by Jesus Christ, for all eternity.

2) Righteousness exalts a nation, in their lives each day.
Living by God's Holy Law, in what they do and say.
But with the reproach of sin, to evil deeds they turn.
Rebellion against God's Holy Law...His Holy Words there, spurned.

3) Righteousness exalts a nation, there in purity.
All creation before God, bows on bended knee.
Sin's reproach there, like a cancer, spreads like wildfire.
For in judgment, God gave these, to reprobate desire.

4) Righteousness exalts a nation, God's Words never change.
For sins reproach there takes God's Words, and them, rearrange.
For Satan wants you to believe his doctrine full of lies.
But The Lord sees everything, through His Holy Eyes.

5) Righteousness exalts a nation, and God will it, there bless.
Accepting Jesus Christ as Lord, with their mouth confess.
But, with the reproach of sin, God's Blessings are removed.
A life of sin, on Judgment Day, God will not approve.

6) Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach.
Without Jesus as Your Lord, Heaven you can't approach.
Christ left Heaven's Glory, to live and die for you.
Eternity determined by what you decide to do.

7) Righteousness exalts a nation, God's Truth, you must believe.
Repent now of your life of sin, and Christ, your Lord, receive.
For if you prefer sins reproach, and evil desires.
You will burn forevermore, in The Lake Of Fire.
