As In The Days Of Noah

''As In The Days Of Noah''

Based on Matthew 24:37

Written By Daryl Stout

1) As in the days of Noah, and Sodom there as well;
Sin reached up to Heaven, and overflowed to Hell.
Ignoring God, their lives full of bitterness and gall.
And, when least expected, God's Judgement, it did fall.

2) As in the days of Noah, and Sodom there as well;
The warning of the judgment there, The Lord to these, did tell.
Noah, Abraham, and then Lot, righteous in God's Eyes;
Not like those ignoring God, His Words, these despised.

3) As in the days of Noah, and Sodom there as well;
For Noah was to build an ark, to escape the flooding spell.
While the ark was being built, he was severely scorned.
''God's Judgment Flood is coming soon''; he tried in vain, to warn.

4) As in the days of Noah, and Sodom there as well;
God's angels to Abraham, and then to Lot, did tell.
Perverted, homosexuals there, filled with sins desires.
All destroyed that fateful day, by God's Righteous Fire.

5) As in the days of Noah, and Sodom there as well;
Conditions just like way back then, sounding judgment's knell.
As God removed those serving Him, before the Judgment hit.
He'll Rapture out The Church, when no one is expecting it.

6) As in the days of Noah, and Sodom there as well;
The stench of all of mankind's sin, it has a putrid smell.
For all who sin against The Lord, they will surely die.
Unless repenting humbly, the sinner, to Christ, does cry.

7) As in the days of Noah, and Sodom there as well;
God will judge the Earth again, His righteousness compels.
The Earth destroyed there once by water, the next by fiery flame.
Destroying sin, and all those who, won't call on Jesus' Name.

8) As in the days of Noah, and Sodom there as well;
Full of evil, these to Satan, their souls, they do sell.
Hating God's Truth, these preferred to be, spiritually blind.
So, God gave all these over to, a reprobate filled mind.

9) As in the days of Noah, and Sodom there as well;
His Judgment is the only way, the sounds of sin to quell.
We're rushing closer to that Judgment, with each passing hour.
When The Lord will show to all, His Righteousness and power.

10) As in the days of Noah, and Sodom there as well;

Those who died, tormented now, they scream, and curse, and yell.
Then one day at The Great White Throne, then to The Fiery Lake.
They'll join Satans throngs forever, the pain will never break.

11) As in the days of Noah, and Sodom there as well;
Where you'll spend eternity...in Heaven, or in Hell.
Is determined by your choice, of what you do with Christ.
For on The Cross, He died for all, and paid sins dreadful price.

12) As in the days of Noah, and Sodom there as well;
The total time you have left, on Earth friend, you can't tell.
For without warning, least expected, your death, quickly comes.
To late then, to repent, and to accept God's Son.

13) As in the days of Noah, and Sodom there as well;
God wants you to repent of sin, no longer to rebel.
Accept, believe in childlike faith, that Christ died for you.
Serve Him now, and at death, Heaven's yours to view.

14) As in the days of Noah, and Sodom there as well;
Like at a railroad crossing there, the sounds of warning bells.
God's Train Of Judgment coming soon...repent, and get on board.
For one day soon, all will bow, declaring Christ as Lord.

15) As in the days of Noah, and Sodom there as well;
Your choice to escape the Judgment, that these words did tell.
But God won't force you to accept, the call now from His Voice.
The decision rests on you today; don't make the wrong choice.
