2) The parents of both families, would the bond arrange.
Only through divorce, could the bond be changed.
A daughters wedding, to another family's own son.
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
3) A dowry was arranged, for the potential bride...
Payment by potential groom, to have her by his side.
A virtuous woman, worth the cost, of her deeds, there done...
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
4) If both sides agreed, the groom would then prepare,
A home for the both of them, that one day, they would share.
Then, at an unexpected time, the cry...the rule of thumb...
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
5) The bride and all her wedding guests, watched both night and day.
For the time the groom would come, no one knew to say.
The cry would come noisily, with fanfare, and with drum...
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
6) The couple would then be wed...then a honeymoon.
Hidden for a short time there, but returning soon.
Presented then as man and wife, the couple had become...
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
7) All these things are also true, for those saved by Grace.
Long to see the bridegroom, Christ...who died in our place.
The Precious Saviour, Lord, Jesus Christ, God's Only Son...
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
8) Christ gave His Life to purchase her...The Church, for Him, His Bride.
From the curse of sin nature, with evil deeds, and pride.
Fulfilled to the letter there, The Father's Will, there done..,
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
9) Now building places for His Bride, there in His Home in Heaven...
The saved, we are not perfect...but through Christ, are forgiven.
And, one day soon, The Rapture Cry, from Heaven...it will come...
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
10) The dead in Christ, raised up first, then those who remain.
Accepted Jesus Christ as Lord, and called upon His Name.
These born again to Jesus Christ, none will He there shun...
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
11) Before the wedding, we appear at The Bema Seat.
Then as one, praising Christ, crowns cast at His Feet.
Now joined with Christ in Heaven, the Church and He, are one...
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
12) However, not everyone will make this wedding feast.
Those rejecting Christ, that take The Mark Of The Beast...
With defiance and in terror...from Him, they do run.
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
13) The Lord Jesus, with His Bride, return in Judgment Fire.
Destroying those rejecting Him, for their sins desires.
Sentenced to Eternal Fire, their torment just begun...
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
14) Satan bound, then arrives Millenium Of Peace...
But at the end, trouble's back, when Satan is released.
Upon invading armies there, Heaven's Fire comes...
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
15) All unsaved are gathered there, at The Great White Throne.
Going To The Lake Of Fire, as those He's never known.
Too late for them to heed the cry, that one day, did come...
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
16) Earth and Heaven then remade...now praise, eternal score.
Praise given to The Trinity, now and forevermore.
By the redeemed who heard the cry, there from God's Own Son...
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
17) Only the saved will be a part, of this special wedding day...
The Church, betrothed to Jesus Christ, The Truth, The Life, The Way.
For them, the happiness and joy, has only just begun...
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
18) After death, it is too late, when you're in repose...
And, after rapture cry goes out, the wedding feast is closed.
For suddenly, it will occur, those left behind, there stunned...
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
19) Like the foolish virgins there, whose lamps were unprepared.
The joys of wedding celebration, none of these will share.
These accepted Satan's lies, the cry would never come...
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
20) After death, where will you, friend, spend eternity??
All will bow before The Lord, one day, on bended knee.
For the day of Judgment there, is not a time of fun.
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
21) It takes no decision, friend...for you to go to Hell.
Demonic taunting, suffering pain, and sulfurous smell.
You'll realize it's too late then, to from this nightmare, run.
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
22) It won't be purgatory there, or even just soul sleep.
Those forever damned there gnash their teeth, continually weep.
Regretting now, the call of Christ, in their lives, they shunned.
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
23) The Lord wants mankind to repent, to turn away from sin.
Accept by faith Christ died for you, then He rose again.
Serve Him, and you won't fear, when death or rapture comes...
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
24) And for those accepting Christ, forever they'll rejoice.
That they harkened to His Call, and His Still Small Voice.
Like winner of life's football game, upon its final gun.
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
25) So as words in this poem, that you now have seen.
Let the Precious Blood of Christ, make your soul now clean.
For when you least expect it, death or rapture comes...
''Go Ye out to meet him!! Behold, The Bridegroom Comes!!''
