2) Before Him, I'm a sinner there, unworthy now, to claim.
Except for The Blood Christ Shed, when I called upon His Name.
In awe to Him, His Love for me, I can not deny.
When I Meet Christ, I'll want a hug, a handshake, and a cry.
3) While on Earth, I to, The Lord...my gratitude, now raise.
That Jesus Christ, My Friend For Life, is Worthy Of All Praise.
When I think of what He did for me, the tears, they fill my eyes.
When I Meet Christ, I'll want a hug, a handshake, and a cry.
4) Though at the Judgment Seat of Christ, rewards may be lost there.
But, salvation, God's Love Gift, with all mankind, He shared.
When I accepted Jesus Christ, His Pardon was applied.
When I Meet Christ, I'll want a hug, a handshake, and a cry.
5) If you have not received The Lord, at death, it is too late.
Repent of sin, accept Christ now, another day, don't wait.
As I see events, I know, redemption draweth nigh.
When I Meet Christ, I'll want a hug, a handshake, and a cry.
6) While God won't force you, friend, to make now, your eternal choice.
After death, it's too late then, to heed God's Loving Voice.
I look to meet The Lord with joy, I won't be terrified.
When I meet Christ, I'll want a hug, a handshake, and a cry.
7) One day soon, before The Lord, all bow on bended knee.
Declaring Jesus Christ Is Lord, for all eternity.
And, whether at the Rapture there, or if in death, I die...
When I meet Christ, I'll want a hug, a handshake, and a cry.
8) The question is, will you join me, there on that Rapture Day.
When the saved meet Jesus Christ, The Truth, The Life, The Way.
I'm sure the saved will join me as we bid this world goodbye.
When I meet Christ, I'll want a hug, a handshake, and a cry.
