2. The sun moves across the sky, and morning slowly ends.
Time seems to zoom right by, as the day goes 'round the bend.
Afternoon is here now, and the day is halfway done.
And the world prepares for it now, as evening is soon to come.
3. The sky gets darker towards the east, and lighter towards the west;
As the sun and sky now get ready to show the world their best.
As the sun nears the horizon, grand colors fill the sky.
The spectacle is grand, and is pleasing to the eye.
4. The sun sets now in the west, and I look upwards, and say
''Thank You, Heavenly Father, for getting me through this day.''
The sky turns to night now, but I'm totally free from sorrow;
knowing that I will see this sight once again tomorrow!!
5. The Earth, sun, sky, all things were created by God above;
Who gave His Son to die for us, in proving His Great Love.
Believing He rose again victorious, with Him, we are alive.
And with His help throughout our lives, we know we can survive.
