2) Not what they were looking for...The Lord, Jesus Christ.
He came to live and die for all, to pay sins awful price.
His Kingdom not of Earth; or His servants would there, fight.
In the darkness of the world, Christ was Divine Light.
3) Not what they were looking for...God's Son, Righteous Lamb.
Creator of the universe, who is The Great ''I Am''.
The Ten Commandments that He gave to Moses long ago.
The sinless Saviour, now on Earth...God's Kingdom to show.
4) Not what they were looking for...Christ, The King Of Kings.
His Life, Death, Resurrection...would salvation bring.
For this Jewish Carpenter, turned Teacher of God's Word.
Tragically there, most refused, Christ's Words that they heard.
5) Not what they were looking for...Christ, The Lord Of Lords.
They wanted Him to kill Israel's enemies with the sword.
The Pharisees and Saducees, Christ exposed their lies.
So, they sentenced that The Lord, would on The Cross, there die.
6) Not what they were looking for...Christ, He rose again.
Precious Blood that He shed there, cleanses from all sin.
Those against Him bribed the guards, with the money, paid.
Denied resurrected Christ...five hundred seen, that day.
7) Not what they were looking for...Christ, to all the Earth.
They don't want to hear Him preach, on sin, and New Birth.
A Gospel of Prosperity...one that tickles ears.
They don't want to leave their sin, repenting with tears.
8) Not what they were looking for...Christ, He doesn't change.
They'd rather He be one they could, with their lives, arrange.
Yesterday, today, forever, Jesus is The Same.
And, one day, all will bow, and confess His Name.
9) Not what they were looking for...Christ, on Rapture morn.
When millions vanish from the Earth, all in Christ, reborn.
First, the dead in Christ will rise, into Heaven's sky.
Then, those in Christ, who do remain, in twinkling of an eye.
10) Not what they were looking for...Christ, on His Return.
All who refused God's Love Gift...eternally, will burn.
Instead of making Jesus Lord, they loved sins desires.
Eternal torment, for all these, there in The Lake Of Fire.
11) Not what they were looking for...what is Christ to you??
Would you say He's just a man?? Or God's Son, there true??
Your eternal destiny depends upon your choice.
I pray that you will hearken to, The Lord's Loving Voice.
12) Not what they were looking for...before Christ, you'll stand.
His Precious Blood was shed for you, from His Nail Pierced Hands.
You'll rejoice, or scream in terror, there before His Throne??
Will you be His, or cast away, as one He's never known??
