| You Can't Earn God's Salvation |

2. A church member for many years, is nothing by itself.
If that was all you devoted, all your time, and all your wealth.
Teaching a class in Sunday School, or the Preaching of the Word;
Or even singing in the choir, if just to be seen and heard.
3. You may have spent most of your life doing good works to all men.
But all your righteousness, in the Eyes of God, are just rags of sin.
Boasting that you're ''not like the others; for sinners they must be''.
You have your reward right then and there; just like the Pharisee.
4. You may have even been baptized, in front of the whole church.
But, as with all the things above, you're still in the lurch;
If you've broken Gods Laws just once; you've broke all of them as well;
And because of sin in your life, you're headed straight for Hell.
5. So, with all the above not good enough, how can one be saved??
Accept Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord; who lived, died, and rose from the grave.
Obtaining God's Perfect Salvation...is really quite simple, you see...
It can't be bought; it's a FREE GIFT...to all who would receive.
6. You can't earn God's Salvation by the life you live.
Nor by your time and money to the church you give.
Your money perish with you, and your sinful lies;
For that thought that with them, God's Salvation you could buy.
