Written By Daryl Stout
2) As with Caesar worship done, there so long ago.
Leaders said that ''they were God''...in the actions showed.
Feelings toward The Law Of God, bitterness and gall...
Pride before destruction, haughtiness before a fall.
3) Many feel so mighty there, and their power won't end.
Ignoring God's Word, and the Warnings it portends.
To these, they're more important...and that God, He is too small.
Pride before destruction, haughtiness before a fall.
4) They conspire against The Lord, and His People there.
Thinking only of themselves; to others, they don't care.
They'll be terrified one day, in God's Judgment Hall...
Pride before destruction, haughtiness before a fall.
5) Persecuting both the Jews, as well as the saved.
Those believing Jesus lived, died, rose up from the grave.
Worship of their egos there, all of these, enthralled.
Pride before destruction, haughtiness before a fall.
6) Evil deeds of man don't worry The Lord God above.
One day, His Patience, it will end...when push comes to shove.
When the time of Judgment comes...it can not be stalled.
Pride before destruction, haughtiness before a fall.
7) Jerusalem, a burdensome stone in the last days.
All seeking to destroy it in all of their evil ways.
Fear will overshadow these, like a deathly pall...
Pride before destruction, haughtiness before a fall.
8) ''What Can God Do To Me??'', the sinful soul inquires.
Refusing to believe they're bound for Eternal Fire.
Blinded by all Satan's Hordes, heed demonic calls.
Pride before destruction, haughtiness before a fall.
9) The Lord, He has no pleasure in the death of those who die.
One day, all will stand before Him, there in Heaven's Sky.
The unsaved, regret that they, on Jesus, didn't call...
Pride before destruction, haughtiness before a fall.
10) To the deeds of sinful souls, The Lord laughs with scorn.
Creator, Soverign over all...whether night or morn.
When these stand before The Lord, they'll see they aren't so tall.
Pride before destruction, haughtiness before a fall.
11) Your pride, it will do no good, in the flames of Hell.
You'll regret that Voice Of God, that your soul did quell.
You'll wish that in life, you had, on Christ, there did call.
Pride before destruction, haughtiness before a fall.
12) God won't wait forever for, mankind to repent.
One day, Judgment, it will fall...The Lord's Patience, spent.
Tragically, most curse The Lord, with all evil gall.
Pride before destruction, haughtiness before a fall.
13) After Rapture of The Church, and Great Tribulation.
Christ returns judge the world, every soul and nation.
At that point, too late to, upon Jesus, call.
Pride before destruction, haughtiness before a fall.
14) Those refusing God's Love Gift, and those who took the Mark.
Will be cast into the Fire, sulfur flame so dark.
They now see that God Himself, He can play ''hard ball''.
Pride before destruction, haughtiness before a fall.
15) Throughout all eternity, The Lord, He is the same.
Salvation free to all those who will call on Jesus' Name.
Repenting of their sin, by faith, they on Christ, there call.
Pride before destruction, haughtiness before a fall.
16) But for those who hearken to Words of Christ, The King.
Accepting Him as Saviour, Lord; Praise to Him, they bring.
Convicted that they should repent, and on Jesus, call.
Pride before destruction, haughtiness before a fall.
17) One day, everyone will bow, there on bended knee.
Declaring Jesus Christ is Lord, for all eternity.
Eagerly, or there compelled...by God's Word, they fall.
Pride before destruction, haughtiness before a fall.
18) Don't let Satan's evil hordes, blind you to God's Truth.
He's the father of all lies, and everything uncouth.
He and all his demons, one day...will before Christ, fall.
Pride before destruction, haughtiness before a fall.
19) The words from the Proverb written, therein this poem.
All will stand before The Lord, before His Judgment Throne.
Those rejecting Christ, are there ashamed; they scream and bawl.
Pride before destruction, haughtiness before a fall.
20) Your eternal destiny, depends upon your choice.
Hell or Heaven, on what you, do with The Lord's Voice.
You can not ignore God's Truth, as a casual drawl.
Pride before destruction, haughtiness before a fall.
