I Glory In The Cross Of Christ, And Nothing That I've Done

''I Glory In The Cross Of Christ, And Nothing That I've Done''

Based On Galatians 6:14

Written By Daryl Stout

1) I glory in The Cross Of Christ, and nothing that I've done.
My righteousness as filthy rags, garbage by the ton.
In my wicked, sinful flesh...full of evil pride.
Without the cleansing of Christ's Blood, I'm dirty inside.

2) I glory in The Cross Of Christ, and nothing that I've done.
The penalty for all my sin, was borne by God's Own Son.
Leaving Heaven's Glory there, sinless, Precious Lamb,
Existed there eternally, as The Great I Am.

3) I glory in The Cross Of Christ, and nothing that I've done.
Entry into Heaven is through Christ, The Only One.
He lived like us in every way, but without the sin.
That sends the lost to Hell at death, torment to begin.

4) I glory in The Cross Of Christ, and nothing that I've done.
One day, all will bow before Jesus Christ, God's Son.
The King Of Kings, and Lord of Lords, Name Above All Names.
For in our place, upon that Cross, He bore our sin and shame.

5) I glory in The Cross Of Christ, and nothing that I've done.
He took upon Himself our sin, though His sins, were none.
Betrayed, scourged, then crucified, on that Rugged Cross.
Then rose again in victory, to redeem the lost.

6) I glory in The Cross Of Christ, and nothing that I've done.
Convicted by The Holy Spirit, I needed God's Son,
To purge me of my sinful deeds, tall as a garbage heap.
When I saw that Rugged Cross, I began to weep.

7) I glory in The Cross Of Christ, and nothing that I've done.
When He arose on The Third Day, the victory, there won.
All who would repent of sin, accepting Christ as Lord.
In true faith, humility, their prayer was not ignored.

8) I glory in The Cross Of Christ, and nothing that I've done.
Spiritual Gifts given me, from Them, Three In One.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, eternally agree.
I'll forever Praise His Name, The One who died for me.

9) I glory in The Cross Of Christ, and nothing that I've done.
Through the talents given me, shared with every one.
Sharing through my Testimony, what He's done for me.
What I do for Christ, I'll have, for eternity.

10) I glory in The Cross Of Christ, and nothing that I've done.
He would've come and died, if I had been the only one.
Guilty of trangession, needing there to be redeemed.
Only through His Precious Blood, my soul is made clean.

11) I glory in The Cross Of Christ, and nothing that I've done.
I am thankful every day, for what Christ has done.
For we're saved by Grace Through Faith, not of works to boast.
Rejecting Christ, it is a choice, that you'll regret the most.

12) I glory in The Cross Of Christ, and nothing that I've done.
Christ's Death paid not just my sins, but those of everyone.
However, everyone on Earth, this Free Gift, must choose.
Will you repent, accept This Gift; or will you, it refuse??
