If You Sow The Wind, My Friend; The Whirlwind You'll Reap

''If You Sow The Wind, My Friend; The Whirlwind You'll Reap''

Based On Hosea 8:7

Written By Daryl Stout

1) Long ago, just as today, mankind does rebel.
They refuse the Gospel Truth, heading straight to Hell.
Drowning there in all their sin, like in the ocean deep.
If You Sow The Wind, My Friend; The Whirlwind You'll Reap.

2) Doing what's right in their eyes, they stumble blindly on.
Not realizing after death, salvations hope, is gone.
Into the fiery pit of Hell, the unsaved, there, do leap.
If You Sow The Wind, My Friend; The Whirlwind You'll Reap.

3) Flaunting their iniquity, before many eyes.
Stench of sin, there from Hell, reaches to the skies.
Being the boss of their lives, control they want to keep.
If You Sow The Wind, My Friend; The Whirlwind You'll Reap.

4) Unrepentant souls, there doing, what's right in their eyes.
Without warning, death arrives, horrible surprise.
Into torment, all these plunge, no hint of soul sleep.
If You Sow The Wind, My Friend; The Whirlwind You'll Reap.

5) Don't be deceived, God is not mocked, by your sinful ways.
All will stand before The Lord, there on Judgment Day.
Judgment speed, a tidal wave; and not a puddle, creep.
If You Sow The Wind, My Friend; The Whirlwind You'll Reap.

6) Every thought, word, deed you do; one day, there, reviewed.
Whether it was pure and clean, or profane and lewd.
Nothing will be censored out, by any kind of bleep.
If You Sow The Wind, My Friend; The Whirlwind You'll Reap.

7) Whether deeds you took pride in, or those that you're ashamed.
There's no question of the guilt; you solely, are to blame.
From the loudest thing you did, to those in quiet peep.
If You Sow The Wind, My Friend; The Whirlwind You'll Reap.

8) Before foundation of the world, God, did His Love, command.
On The Cross, Christ shed His Blood, there from nail scarred Hands.
Every soul has gone astray, just like the errant sheep.
If You Sow The Wind, My Friend; The Whirlwind You'll Reap.

9) In our place, Christ died upon, an Old Rugged Cross.
Penalty for sin, He took, to redeem the lost.
Without sin, God's Only Son, all God's Laws, did keep.
If You Sow The Wind, My Friend; The Whirlwind You'll Reap.

10) According to the Scriptures, Christ, there on the Third Day;
Rose from the grave, victorious; The Truth, The Life, The Way.
One day, the saved, like Him, arise; alive, and those who sleep.
If You Sow The Wind, My Friend; The Whirlwind You'll Reap.

11) God made a way for every soul to escape Hell Fire.
Believe on Christ, who He did send, The One Thing God Requires.
It cost The Lord His Life that day; the cost, it wasn't cheap.
If You Sow The Wind, My Friend; The Whirlwind You'll Reap.

12) God's Grace, Favor Undeserved, Salvation, Full and Free.
One day, before Christ, all will bow, there on bended knee.
Who pays the cost of all your sin?? Christ?? Or did you, keep??
If You Sow The Wind, My Friend; The Whirlwind You'll Reap.
