2) It's clear through all history, that man learns not a thing.
Yet, of foolishness of past deeds, mankind still will bring.
Spurning Truth that is God's Word, exchanging it for lies.
When they turn their back on God, the day a nation dies.
3) ''Let's break their hands, and cast away, the cords of restraint''.
The heathen of the Earth declare, in their Divine Complaint.
Prefer instead to do what's right, there in their own eyes.
When they turn their back on God, the day a nation dies.
4) The Lord in Heaven On His Throne, to these, He laughs to scorn.
He knows their every thought, and deed, motives there, forlorn.
One cannot defeat The Lord, no matter what one tries.
When they turn their back on God, the day a nation dies.
5) The heathen scream for separation there of church and state.
Freedom from religion; for toward God, they're full of hate.
Judgment's coming, then too late, for repentant cries.
When they turn their back on God, the day a nation dies.
6) The Lord God is a Gentleman; on people, He won't force,
His Will upon any soul, therein on life's course.
If they refuse His Free Love Gift, His Judgment there, applies.
When they turn their back on God, the day a nation dies.
7) The first time Christ came to the Earth; was not to judge, but save.
He paid sins' debt on The Cross, and rose up from the grave.
Returns in Judgment there one day, splitting Heaven's skies.
When they turn their back on God, the day a nation dies.
8) A nation turns its back on God, His Protection is withdrawn.
Blessings vanish from the scene...as curses now come on.
Fooled by Satan and his hordes, of demons with disguise.
When they turn their back on God, the day a nation dies.
9) Just like a nation, every person must make eternal choice.
Do you repent now of your sin, and hearken to God's Voice??
You can't fool The Lord, my friend; your deeds are no surprise.
When they turn their back on God, the day a nation dies.
