2) One promotion says ''buy this, and get another one, free''.
It may appear a real good deal; without an extra fee.
But, behind the choice of words, the meaning has been glossed.
When something's advertised as free; someone paid the cost.
3) Certificates, prizes, for a contest; the work can not compare.
The victory there of the team; with every person shared.
Whether for just one person; or a group, embossed;
When something's advertised as free; someone paid the cost.
4) But true meaning of this poem, to all must be known.
For while all mankind, sinners there; Christ's True Love was shown.
Though man's heart toward God was cold, like a winter frost;
When something's advertised as free; someone paid the cost.
5) Before The Earth would there be formed, on Creation Day.
Jesus Christ, The King Of Kings, The Truth, The Life The Way.
Knew He'd take upon Himself, all sins on The Cross.
When something's advertised as free; someone paid the cost.
6) While Salvation's Gift is free, to all who'd receive.
Who'd repent of all their sin, and on Christ, believe.
That Christ lived, died, and rose again; to redeem the lost.
When something's advertised as free; someone paid the cost.
7) Christ lived the life that we could not; it cost all He had.
To redeem the unsaved souls; everyone, sinned bad.
His Blood cleansed sin; like removing, food with dental floss.
When something's advertised as free; someone paid the cost.
8) Eagerly or compelled one day, all on bended knee.
Hell or Heaven, is their home, for eternity.
Accept Christ now, and be saved; or be forever lost.
When something's advertised as free; someone paid the cost.
