'Rules For Thee, But Not For Me', The Hypocrites All Say

'Rules For Thee, But Not For Me, The Hypocrites All Say'

Written By Daryl Stout

1) Two sets of rules for many years, a double standard there.
The peasant subjects, and elites; the latter doesn't care.
About the subjects welfare there, for each and every day.
''Rules For Thee, But Not For Me'', the hypocrites all say.

2) The root word of hypocrite, came from the actors stage.
A character that they'd play the part, in happiness or rage.
They think consequences there, they won't have to pay.
''Rules For Thee, But Not For Me'', the hypocrites all say.

3) It's usually the hierarchy in governmental links.
The people of the country there; their treatment really stinks.
Elites live in royalty, each and every day.
''Rules For Thee, But Not For Me'', the hypocrites all say.

4) Many times, the Jews rebelled, against God's Sovereign Voice.
As Joshua said to the Jews, ''It's time to make a choice''.
''Pagan gods, or The Lord; who will you serve, this day??''
''Rules For Thee, But Not For Me'', the hypocrites all say.

5) Like Pharisees of Jesus' Day, said they were close to God.
Their deceitfulness exposed, as a hoax and fraud.
''We're God's Chosen People, We're Blessed In Every Way''.
''Rules For Thee, But Not For Me'', the hypocrites all say.

6) The Earth and The Heavens Are, God's Creation And His Rules.
All those who rebel toward God, The Lord calls them ''Fools''.
Christ; King Of Kings, Lord Of Lords, The Truth, The Life, The Way.
''Rules For Thee, But Not For Me'', the hypocrites all say.

7) Going through the motions there, with clenched teeth and fists.
They will find up on their death, that Heaven, it is missed.
Their whole life, they'll answer for, there on Judgment Day.
''Rules For Thee, But Not For Me'', the hypocrites all say.

8) Those plotting against The Lord, He laughs at them with scorn.
They're deceived by Satan there; refuse to be reborn.
Either Christ, or you yourself, will your sin debt, pay.
''Rules For Thee, But Not For Me'', the hypocrites all say.

9) God's offer of forgiveness, friend, will at your death, expire.
If you die without The Lord, you're headed for Hell Fire.
For all the unsaved souls in Hell, it's too late to pray.
''Rules For Thee, But Not For Me'', the hypocrites all say.

10) Then, you'll bow before The Lord, there before His Throne.
He'll cast you into the Fire, as one He's never known.
Eternally, you will regret, these words every day.
''Rules For Thee, But Not For Me'', the hypocrites all say.

11) Eagerly or there, compelled; before Christ, all will bow.
If you want Heaven as your home, come to Jesus now.
He knows your heart and true intent, of every word, each day.
''Rules For Thee, But Not For Me'', the hypocrites all say.

12) For God is a Gentleman; your choice, He will not force.
Unless you repent and come to Christ, Hell your final course.
Repent of sin, and come to Christ; make no more delay.
''Rules For Thee, But Not For Me'', the hypocrites all say.
