2) Our citizenship in Heaven; not this earthly place.
We long to be there, free from sin; and to see His Face.
No matter where we live on Earth, a country or a land.
Accepting The Lord's Free Love Gift; from His Nail Scarred Hands.
3) Our citizenship in Heaven; not this earthy place.
At death or rapture, when souls vanish, there without a trace.
Changed mortal to immortal in the twinkling of an eye.
To be with Christ forevermore, there in Heaven's sky.
4) Our citizenship in Heaven; not this earthy place.
Looking there to Jesus Christ, as we run the race.
We press on to the mark, of the Heavenly prize.
What we do, to be pleasing, there to our Lord's Eyes.
5) Our citizenship in Heaven; not this earthy place.
We see through glass darkly now; but they see face to face.
All those who've gone on before; they have the victory.
One day, the saved will be with Christ, for all eternity.
6) Our citizenship in Heaven; not this earthy place.
Earth's corruption, evil, death, like a stinging mace.
None of this in Heaven there, nor the curse of sin.
Nothing impure from this life, will ever enter in.
7) Our citizenship in Heaven; not this earthy place.
We're strangers in a foreign land, as in an alien race.
We repented of our sin, God's Love Gift, did accept.
Sadly, most of mankind will, God's Love Gift, reject.
8) Our citizenship in Heaven; not this earthy place.
All crying, pain, and loneliness; now has been displaced.
Eagerly, the saints there bow, before The Lord's Throne.
Now part of His Family, He takes us as His Own.
9) Our citizenship in Heaven; not this earthy place.
Our joy there, eternally, when we see His Face.
Worship, praise, and serving Him, it will never end.
Christ alone, is worthy there, and our forever Friend.
10) Our citizenship in Heaven; not this earthy place.
The Church shows, incomparable riches, of God's Amazing Grace.
Jew and Gentile, believed on Christ, who died; rose from the grave.
All who repent, and call on Christ; all these will be saved.
11) Our citizenship in Heaven; not this earthy place.
Every soul there, saved or lost, one day, sees His Face.
Eagerly or compelled there, they'll bow before His Throne.
Welcomed there, or cast away, as one's He's never known.
12) Our citizenship in Heaven; not this earthy place.
God shows no partiality, no matter what your race.
Believe on Christ, The One God Sent; The One Thing He Requires.
Otherwise, you're bound for, Eternal Lake Of Fire.
