It Truly Is An Insult There, When A Gift's Refused

Written By Daryl Stout

1) It truly is an insult there, if a gift's refused.
Toward the one who did prepare, the gift they that did choose.
Though you did nothing for the gift, or one you could not earn.
You grieve the giver of the gift; when it, you there, spurn.

2) It truly is an insult there, if a gift's refused.
Birthday, anniversary; the gift, you chose to lose.
Ungrateful in your attitude, insulting to the host.
It could be a choice that you will regret the most.

3) It truly is an insult there, if a gift's refused.
By your callous attitude, it gives them the blues.
They did it out of kindness there, to help you in your need.
You're more concerned there with yourself, and your heart of greed.

4) It truly is an insult there, if a gift's refused.
But, the greatest gift of all, to Gentiles and the Jews.
Was that Jesus Christ, would come, to die and rise again.
To pay our eternal debt, from the cost of sin.

5) It truly is an insult there, if a gift's refused.
But for every one who lives, there are just two views.
To believe on Jesus Christ, the thing that God requires.
Or refuse Him, and be doomed, to The Lake Of Fire.

6) It truly is an insult there, if a gift's refused.
One can't buy salvation there, or paying of one's dues.
Our righteousness is as filthy rags, there before The Lord.
For His Word is sharper than, any two edged sword.

7) It truly is an insult there, if a gift's refused.
Most would rather live in sin, than heed the Gospel News.
Wide the gate, and broad the way, leading straight to Hell.
Narrow gate, straight the Way, to Heaven, where all's well.

8) It truly is an insult there, if a gift's refused.
Whether one is saved or lost, the Devil will accuse.
For the saved, all sins are paid, by the Blood of Christ.
They know they are not their own, but bought with a price.

9) It truly is an insult there, if a gift's refused.
God, He is a Gentleman, He lets each person, choose.
Whether to accept this Gift, Precious, Full, and Free.
Or reject it; they'll regret it, for all eternity.

10) It truly is an insult there, if a gift's refused.
It's a choice that all must make, you can not, recuse.
All have sinned, and come short, of God's Glory, there.
On Judgment Day, for the lost, their doom won't be spared.

11) It truly is an insult there, if a gift's refused.
Tomorrow promised to no one, you can't wait, and muse.
Death comes so quick and final friend, don't let the die be cast.
Against you for rejecting Christ; it can happen, oh so fast.

12) It truly is an insult there, if a gift's refused.
Your life you will answer for, your actions, can't excuse.
Whether motives, words, or thoughts, your deeds will be shown.
No question of your guilty soul, there before God's Throne.

13) It truly is an insult there, if a gift's refused.
Paradise in Heaven there, it is your choice to lose.
By default, it is Hell, the moment that you die.
Just one sin will keep you out of Heaven's Righteous Sky.

14) It truly is an insult there, if a gift's refused.
If you're truly born again, His Grace, you don't abuse.
License to Serve, and Not To Sin...the least that we can do.
Christ gave His Life for every one, Gentile and the Jew.

15) It truly is an insult there, if a gift's refused.
Where you'll go upon your death; you dear friend, must choose.
Hell Or Heaven, frankly there, is no other choice.
Will you accept, or there reject, The Lord's Precious Voice??
