Years From Now, You'll Remember

''Years From Now, You'll Remember''

Written By Daryl Stout

1) Years from now, you'll remember
When you first heard The Good News.
That God sent His Son, Christ Jesus,
To pay for the sins that you'd do.

2) Years from now, you'll remember
How you reacted back then.
Was it with malice and anger?
Or humbly repentant of sin?

3) Years from now, you'll remember
The Spirit of God touched your heart.
For even while you were a sinner,
Christ wanted to give a new start.

4) Years from now, you'll remember
The words there from God's Holy Book.
Your eternal path was dependent
On which of those choices you took.

5) Years from now, you'll remember
Responding to God's Word that day.
For there were only two choices
In what your heart there would say.

6) Years from now, you'll remember
Preaching The Old Rugged Cross
Christ died to save all mankind there;
And, pay for the sins of the lost.

7) Years from now, you'll remember
When Christ stood before you that day.
Did you accept His Free Love Gift?
Or reject The Truth, Life, and The Way?

8) Years from now, you'll remember
When crossing to the other side.
Seeing the Glory Of Heaven,
Or fires of Hell as you died.

9) Years from now, you'll remember
Reflecting with joy and with praise.
Accepting Christ there as your Saviour,
A prayer unto Him you did raise.

10) Years from now, you'll remember
Or chances you had that you spurned.
Then standing before Christ in Judgment,
In Eternal Torment, you'll burn.
