2) Mankind wants a leader, but he doesn't want The Lord.
Yet, God's Word is sharper than, any two edged sword.
God sets up, and He removes, kings throughout the land.
Individuals will rule, only by God's Hand.
3) Mankind wants a leader, but he doesn't want The Lord.
Most folks rebel against The Lord, there in one accord.
We're no different from the Jews, there so long ago.
Want a king like other lands, a path one should not go.
4) Mankind wants a leader, but he doesn't want The Lord.
One who would defeat the Romans, with a mighty sword.
That's what Jews were wanting, from Jesus Christ that day.
Not seeing that He came to die, man's sin cost, to pay.
5) Mankind wants a leader, but he doesn't want The Lord.
They'd rather serve their selfishness, and fight by the sword.
Yet, those who live there by the sword; one day, they will die.
Rejecting God, He won't hear them; when to Him, they cry.
6) Mankind wants a leader, but he doesn't want The Lord.
Not aware of complications, like from a bull, gored.
The lies of Satan, man believes, and heartily, accepts.
Tragically, the Truths of God, mankind there, rejects.
7) Mankind wants a leader, but he doesn't want The Lord.
For over six thousand years, God's Wrath has been stored.
After Rapture Of The Church, a time of Hell on Earth.
For all who refused The Lord, and didn't want New Birth.
8) Mankind wants a leader, but he doesn't want The Lord.
Mankind gets what he has wanted, God's Rules, there ignored.
Three sets of seven judgments will, decimate mankind.
Both saved, and the lost; the latter, spiritually blind.
9) Mankind wants a leader, but he doesn't want The Lord.
Yet one day, Christ will return; ravaged Earth restored.
With a rod of iron, Christ, will rule the nations, there.
The curse of sin on planet Earth, no longer has its snare.
10) Mankind wants a leader, but he doesn't want The Lord.
Christ died to pay the cost of sin, that no one could afford.
Is it you, or is it Christ, there on your life's throne??
Reject Him, and be cast away, as one He's never known.
