2. The sun that shines over the land
Is a marvel of God's Great Hand.
It warms the Earth, and gives much joy
To every little girl and boy.
3. An hour before the sun is gone,
you'll see changes coming on.
The sky will change from only blue
To many colors great to view.
4. Red, yellow, orange, and white
Fill the sky with beautiful light.
But soon, the sun, no longer bright,
Will quickly disappear from sight.
5. The sun now sets low in the west,
Closing the drama at its best;
While beautiful rays still line the sky,
Reminders of the day gone by.
6. Sunset and sunrise have no sorrow,
As they repeat themselves tomorrow.
These great things possess much worth;
It's God's Light upon this great Earth.
