Springtime

''Springtime''

Spring is a very special time of year.
The winter's icy stare is finally gone.
The world can tell just when the time is near.
Sheer beauty comes upon the new green lawn.

I thrill to see the varied flowers bloom.
New life is shown on every living thing.
By patterns that are done by nature's loom,
All nature now declares that it is spring.

Oh! All creation is now fresh and green!
All creatures will now start their lives anew.
There is so much love that can now be seen,
That lovers come to meet, and say ''I do''.

Spring turns the Earth into a wonderland;
A Gift from God's Forever Giving Hand.
