Once You're In Eternity, You Can Not Go Back

Once You're In Eternity, You Can Not Go Back

Written By Daryl Stout

1) Once you're in eternity, you can not go back.
To your life you lived on Earth, like changing of train track.
Once you've taken your last breath; eternal home is sealed.
Hell's torment, or Heaven's joy; for you, is revealed.

2) Once you're in eternity, you can not go back.
Death comes quick and final there, as sudden heart attack.
What you did with Jesus Christ, determines there, your fate.
Decision for Christ after death, eternally too late.

3) Once you're in eternity, you can not go back.
The amount of all your sin, is in a huge stack.
The question is, who pays for them?? You, or Jesus Christ??
If you, then you'll see that the cost, is too great a price.

4) Once you're in eternity, you can not go back.
No second chance to fix things there, of what you did, there lack.
The book of all your deeds in life, forever is now closed.
Heaven, your eternal home; if Christ The Lord, you chose.

5) Once you're in eternity, you can not go back.
The pain and torment there in Hell, far worse than the rack.
If you did not believe on Christ, the one thing God required.
You're in Hell, a prelude to, eternal Lake Of Fire.

6) Once you're in eternity, you can not go back.
The secret to eternal joy, it wasn't hard to crack.
For God so loved all the world, He sent His Only Son.
On The Cross, to pay sins cost, each and every one.

7) Once you're in eternity, you can not go back.
Your righteousness as filthy rags, as there in trash sack.
Unless you did repent of sin, believe on, Christ, God sent.
God's Creation, and His Rules, you'll see they can't be bent.

8) Once you're in eternity, you can not go back.
If your heart is unrepentant, dark with sin, and black.
That you would not accept Christ, who was crucified.
To pay for all of your sin there; so Heaven is denied.

9) Once you're in eternity, you can not go back.
At the end of line in life, on that railroad track.
It's appointed all to die, then judgment for each one.
Too late then, to make the choice, on Christ, God's Dear Son.

10) Once you're in eternity, you can not go back.
Without Christ, into Heaven, you there, cannot hack.
God gives everyone free will, there to make the choice.
To accept, or there reject, Christ's Precious Loving Voice.

11) Once you're in eternity, you can not go back.
Into Heaven, you cannot, sneak in, or hijack.
The default for all mankind, is the pit of Hell.
If you prefer a life of sin, and Satan's evil spell.

12) Once you're in eternity, you can not go back.
If you choose to reject Christ, God won't cut you slack.
No question of your guilt that day, there before His Throne.
You'll be cast into The Fire, as one He's never known.

13) Once you're in eternity, you can not go back.
Into Heaven, you can't ride, coattails of a pack.
Not going through the motions there, but truly you'll believe.
Asking Christ to forgive you, salvation, there receive.

14) Once you're in eternity, you can not go back.
If you do not know The Lord, you can change life's track.
At least one chance given there, to hear the Gospel Truth.
Salvation free for everyone, both adults and youth.

15) Once you're in eternity, you can not go back.
For God's Holy Word is Truth, that is stated fact.
One is saved by grace through faith, not of works to boast.
If you choose to reject Christ; you will regret it most.
