''Music''

There is a great thing we have come to know.
It quiets the worried mind, and soothes the soul.
We hear it everywhere that we may go.
And all your pleasant thoughts begin to roll.

Oh! Music is this grand and glorious thing!
We're glad it can be heard around the clock.
We're grateful we can listen, dance, or sing
To Symphony, or Jazz, or Swing, or Rock.

The Gospel and the Classical are mine!!
The rhythms pick me up, and calm me down.
The brass, percussion, and reeds are really fine!!
And you hear it in each city and town.

Sweet music softens trouble, pain, and strife.
Yes! Music is a vital part of life!
