2) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
All lost their moral compass there; spiritually were lost;
When Adam and Eve disobeyed, the One Rule that God gave.
Deceived by Satan, as a serpent, lying, crafty knave.
3) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
What did you with Gospel Truth, when told you were lost??
When told that your life's sin fee, you there, could not pay.
That only Christ could save your soul, Heaven's Only Way.
4) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
Was it Salvation's Free Gift there?? As your life, the boss.
For trusting in your deeds alone, containing all sin's leaven.
That won't pass the test with God; you'll be denied Heaven.
5) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
Your righteousness as filthy rags; like teeth there, unflossed.
Only by repentance, faith...your sins laid on Christ.
For the saved are not their own, but bought with a price.
6) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
Our hearts black and reprobate; with all sin, embossed.
Christians saved by grace through faith, not of works to boast.
If you choose to reject Christ, you will regret it most.
7) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
Between Hell and Heaven there, a chasm, you can't cross.
If you choose to reject Christ, and go your own way;
You're terrified when you see Him, there on Judgment Day.
8) In this life, what did you leave, at foot The Cross??
Without Christ, and moral compass; on life's sea, you're tossed.
It's appointed all to die, then Judgment Day awaits.
Heaven's Joy, or Hell's Torment; one will be your fate.
9) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
Once you close your eyes in death, you can't come back across.
What you did with Jesus Christ, sets your eternal fate.
After death, you cannot change; as it is too late.
10) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
If you die without The Lord, eternally, you're lost.
Compelled to bow before The Lord, there upon His Throne.
Every thought, word, deed, in life, to all, now made known.
11) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
If it was God's Free Love Gift, aside there, you did toss.
You'll see no question of your guilt, there on Judgment Day.
And, too late, you'll see you can't, your sin debt, there pay.
12) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
When you saw, to follow Christ, there was a huge cost;
You said "This is not for me"; so, Gospel Truth, you spurned.
You realize eternally, you will forever, burn.
13) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
You fooled people everywhere, but were there, still lost.
Just going through the motions there, no commitment shown.
Destined for The Lake Of Fire; one Christ has never known.
14) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
There convicted of your sin, and couldn't pay the cost.
With repentance and faith there, on Christ, you believed.
You asked Him to save your soul; Eternal Life, received.
15) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
Each day the saved must die to self, and take up their cross.
To lay aside our deeds of sin, as we repent, confess.
Christ forgives us of our sins; and our lives, He'll bless.
16) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
Was your committment full to Christ, where He was The Boss??
Though all sin forgiven there, it's license to serve.
For God grades upon The Cross, and not upon the curve.
17) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
While out of fellowship, with sin; blessings there were lost.
Though Heaven's Joy is your reward; accepting The Lord's Grace.
How you served Him on the Earth, sets your rank and place.
18) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
For the saved, at Bema Seat; rewards gained and lost.
Blessings in this life on Earth, and for eternity.
Christ excuses no one from responsibility.
19) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
Where you entangled in your sin, like the seaweed moss??
Or obey Christ, and leave consequences there, to Him??
If you're trusting in The Lord; life's battles, you will win.
20) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
Though salvation a Free Gift; for Christ, a huge cost.
First scourged, then there, crucified, our sin debt to pay.
For the saved, His Precious Blood, washed their sins away.
21) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
In the battle for our souls, victory was not lost.
He shouted ''It Is Finished'', then died and bowed His Head.
He conquered death on Easter morn, in rising from the dead.
22) In this life, what did you leave, at foot of The Cross??
Either taking God's Free Gift; or away, it's tossed.
For God is a Gentleman, He'll respect your choice.
To accept or to reject, His Precious Loving Voice.
