2) Your excuses before Christ will all come up lame.
If all you thought of life on Earth, was wealth, and its fame.
When you stand before The Lord, in horror, you're aghast.
You'll see that only things for Christ, will forever last.
3) Your excuses before Christ will all come up lame.
You thought this life all there was, and it was a game.
You laughed and scoffed when you there heard The Preaching Of The Cross.
That Christ died and rose again, to redeem the lost.
4) Your excuses before Christ will all come up lame.
Not lions ferocity, but more like a cat, tame.
Man's laws compared to God's Laws, they can't supercede.
No one will defend your soul, no one is there, to plead.
5) Your excuses before Christ will all come up lame.
You said ''I'm like everyone; all lives were the same''.
The truth from that is all mankind, before Christ, are condemned.
God grades on The Cross, not the curve; and His Rules, don't bend.
6) Your excuses before Christ will all come up lame.
No matter what you come up with, or there, do proclaim.
All your motives, words, and thoughts, and deeds, are revealed.
Whether done in open view, or were there, concealed.
7) Your excuses before Christ will all come up lame.
Like Christians in Name Only there, in what they do claim.
They fool the pastor and church members; but can't fool The Lord.
For His Word is sharper than any two edged sword.
8) Your excuses before Christ will all come up lame.
When you stand before Him there, you truly, are ashamed.
For the way you lived your life, no way to make amends.
No second chance to start from scratch, and to change the trends.
9) Your excuses before Christ will all come up lame.
You'll realize that you yourself, the only one to blame.
If you did not believe on Christ; the one thing God required.
You will spend eternity in The Lake Of Fire.
10) Your excuses before Christ will all come up lame.
For God did so love the world; to mankind, Christ, He came.
To take our sins upon Himself, His Precious Blood, there shed.
To die there on the Rugged Cross; and rise from the dead.
11) Your excuses before Christ will all come up lame.
All will stand before The Lord; and He will call your name.
An appointment you will keep, before Him, you will kneel.
No guilt question, pardon, mercy, or even, appeal.
12) Your excuses before Christ will all come up lame.
You'll answer for all your life; all things to proclaim.
Will you be welcomed into Heaven, from His Righteous Throne??
Or cast to The Lake Of Fire, as one He's never known??
