Like A Roaring Lion

''Like A Roaring Lion''

Based on I Peter 5:8

Written By Daryl Stout

1) Like a roaring lion, seeking souls each hour;
Satan wants your life today, eternally to be devoured.
As the covering cherub, it's where it all did start.
His subtle lies, they will ensnare, your unsuspecting heart.

2) Like a roaring lion, he filled with sin and pride,
And to one third of angels there, in Heaven, Satan lied.
He, and all his demons, were cast down to the Earth,
And, lied to our first parents, brought sin to all our births.

3) Like a roaring lion, deceiving all mankind,
To ensure that everyone, will be spiritually blind.
He slaps The Lord there in His Face, for every soul that fell,
Rejecting God's Free Love Gift there, endure torment in hell.

4) Like a roaring lion, his wicked time is short,
For when Christ was crucified, the Good News to report.
The Resurrection Easter morn, sealed Satan's fate,
With Victory to repentant souls, before it was too late.

5) Like a roaring lion, adoring Antichrist.
Forcing all to take the Mark, damning eternal price.
For he and all his minons, think Christ they can defeat.
But, as with the resurrection, Christ's Victory will repeat.

6) Like a roaring lion, one day, he'll be caged;
One thousand years in bondage, Earth spared from his rage.
His final try to destroy God, his wickedly desires,
Will torment him forevermore, in The Lake Of Fire.

7) Like a roaring lion, one day, he'll be gone.
Sin won't rise a second time, or evil linger on.
For Christ The Lord, The King Of Kings, The Lion Of Judah, He,
Defeated the evil roaring lion, that day on Calvary.
