Apologies Not Good Enough, On Your Judgment Day

Apologies Not Good Enough, On Your Judgment Day

Written By Daryl Stout

1) Apologies not good enough, on your judgment day.
At your death, the question is, who will, your sin debt, pay??
Either at the Bema Seat, or at The Great White Throne.
Every deed you did in life, will there, be made known.

2) Apologies not good enough, on your judgment day.
From this appointment before Christ, you can't run away.
No guilt question, pardon, mercy, or hint of appeal.
Whether open, in full view...or hidden and concealed.

3) Apologies not good enough, on your judgment day.
Though you thought in life on Earth, with deeds, you got away.
God keeps thorough records there; none will you, defend.
Christ can be your worst nightmare, or your Forever Friend.

4) Apologies not good enough, on your judgment day.
''I'm sorry'' not acceptable, of words you can say.
Christ excuses no one from responsibility.
What you do with Christ determines your eternity.

5) Apologies not good enough, on your judgment day.
God's Standard is Perfection there, none on Earth can pay.
Unless your heart has there, been cleansed, by the Blood Of Christ;
You will find that you cannot, pay the sin debt price.

6) Apologies not good enough, on your judgment day.
For those at the Bema Seat, sins not on display.
Your deeds; gold, siver, precious stones; works for Christ, inspired.
Or trash of wood, hay, and stubble, these all cleansed by fire.

7) Apologies not good enough, on your judgment day.
How the saved in Heaven are, dressed upon that day.
Either attired royally, in service to The King.
Or a beggar, with empty bag, is all that you could bring.

8) Apologies not good enough, on your judgment day.
No excuses you can make, or words that you can say.
How you served The Lord on Earth, sets your eternal rank.
If all your works were there burned up, you there, surely stank.

9) Apologies not good enough, on your judgment day.
God knew your sincerity, in the words you'd say.
But, if you did the one thing, The Lord, did require.
You're in Heaven, not headed for, eternal Lake Of Fire.

10) Apologies not good enough, on your judgment day.
Tragically, for the unsaved, they can not turn away.
Their time of torment, terror, there, begins upon their death.
They refused to call on Christ, before their last breath.

11) Apologies not good enough, on your judgment day.
They'll see that since they spurned The Lord, their sin debt, they'll pay.
They're headed for the same place as, Satan and his hordes;
With all those who chose to spurn, Jesus Christ as Lord.

12) Apologies not good enough on your judgment day.
At end of Millennium, a truly somber day.
The unsaved join the countless throngs, at The Great White Throne.
Every thought, motive, word, and deed, is now there, made known.

13) Apologies not good enough on your judgment day.
The Grace of God is over now, and it's too late to pray.
You will see that no one there, defends you, or the lost.
And you see that none of you, can pay the sin debt cost.

14) Apologies not good enough on your judgment day.
Being sorry you got caught, it won't save the day.
No one will stand there in your place, your soul to defend.
Christ is now your Worst Nightmare, and not forever Friend.

15) Apologies not good enough on your judgment day.
You will be without excuse, in any words you say.
Now compelled there by God's Truth, before The Lord, you bow.
But, no chance for salvation; all of that's gone now.

16) Apologies not good enough on your judgment day.
When you are commanded there, by Christ, to ''go away''.
With His Words Of Judgment Day, from The Great White Throne.
''Depart from Me, into The Fire; for you, I've never known''.

17) Apologies not good enough on your judgment day.
God knows whether you're sincere, when you choose to pray.
Just going through the motions there, won't do you any good.
He knows your commitment there, if you'll do what you should.

18) Apologies not good enough on your judgment day.
If truly sorry for your sins, in this life, you pray;
That you repent, and place your faith, totally in Christ.
He will pay your huge sin debt, a truly horrid price.

19) Apologies not good enough on your judgment day.
Knowing what Christ did for you; you can't the debt, repay.
Instead your live your life in service to Jesus Christ, God's Son.
And, at death or rapture there, He'll say to you ''Well Done''.

20) Apologies not good enough on your judgment day.
Your eternal destiny, is your choice, friend, today.
For Heaven, believe on Christ, the one thing God requires.
Do nothing, and your destined for, Hell, and Lake Of Fire.
