Heaven Is Not A Saloon, As In The Old West

Heaven Is Not A Saloon, As In The Old West

Written By Daryl Stout

1) Misconceptions of Heaven, by sinful souls on Earth.
The place promised after death, for those who have New Birth.
No carousing, fornication, as in an orgy fest.
Heaven is not a saloon, as in the Old West.

2) Drunkeness and violence, with all acts of sin.
Nothing wicked, evil, vile, ever enters in.
It is not a honky tonk, as some would suggest.
Heaven is not a saloon, as in the Old West.

3) Sadly, far more of mankind, will not get inside.
Kept out of Heaven by their sin, and its wicked pride.
Despise that God, He made The rules; they feel He's a pest.
Heaven is not a saloon, as in the Old West.

4) Most prefer a life of sin, believing Satan's lie.
''There's no Heaven, Hell, or Judgment, after you there, die''.
Breaking The Commandments Ten, evil in life's nest.
Heaven is not a saloon, as in the Old West.

5) Those not in God's Kingdom there, these refused entry.
Instead, they'll be tormented there, for eternity.
They thought that they could sneak in, as uninvited guest.
Heaven is not a saloon, as in the Old West.

6) Heaven is not owed to you, at moment of your death.
Without Christ, you're damned to Hell, upon your last breath.
God knows your commitment there; if true, or in jest.
Heaven is not a saloon, as in the Old West.

7) In Heaven, the saved serve The Lord, like they never could.
Sin nature on Earth, kept them from, doing what they should.
For the righteous, they now enter, time of Sabbath rest.
Heaven is not a saloon, as in the Old West.

8) No more sorrow, sickness, pain, sin, or threat to die.
Everyone here, never will, have to say goodbye.
With Christ for eternity, this life is the best.
Heaven is not a saloon, as in the Old West.

9) Here for all eternity, the saved will not be bored.
Praise and Service there to Christ; Saviour, King, and Lord.
What God has planned for all the saved; none on Earth have guessed.
Heaven is not a saloon, as in the Old West.

10) You can't afford salvation there, it can't be earned or bought.
Your righteousness as filthy rags; that's all you have got.
On Heaven's inhabitants, sin can not molest.
Heaven is not a saloon, as in the Old West.

11) One is saved by Grace Through Faith, not of works, to boast.
If you repent, believe on Christ, you'll cherish it, most.
Serving Christ, works done for Him, it's a Treasure Chest.
Heaven is not a saloon, as in the Old West.

12) ''Lord, what will you have me do, there for you today??''.
''I know that into Heaven there, You are The Only Way.''
''For Your Ways are holy, pure; with every Request.''
Heaven is not a saloon, as in the Old West.

13) The whole armour of The Lord, is there for each saint.
The Blood Of Jesus cleanses each, evil spot and taint.
Not hearkening to Satan's lies, as he would suggest.
Heaven is not a saloon, as in the Old West.

14) While rewards are gained and lost, at the Bema Seat.
In Heaven with Christ forever; redemption complete.
Doing what The Lord commands, all at His Behest.
Heaven is not a saloon, as in the Old West.

15) Salvation, it is a free gift; to all who would receive.
The one thing God requires is, ''On Jesus Christ, believe''.
Your eternal home depends, on if you pass this test.
Heaven is not a saloon, as in the Old West.
