If It Weren't For Prophecy, The Saved Would Have No Hope

Written By Daryl Stout

1) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
It seemed that they would all be hung, by a noose and rope.
Justice never would be done, many got away.
With their crimes of evil there, they never had to pay.

2) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
All the saved, emotionally, they could never cope.
Wickedness and evil there, every place abound.
It would seem that any good, nowhere could be found.

3) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
As in the days of Noah there, mankind in its scope;
Mocking, laughing, at Noah, while he built the Ark.
They could not see coming judgment; as their hearts were dark.

4) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
Warning for them to repent, all but eight said ''Nope''!!
Only Noah's family, eight righteous souls, there found.
All who spurned the warning there, everyone was drowned.

5) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
The lost all believe the saved, are a bunch of dopes.
The lost prefer a life of sin, believing Satan's lie.
They will see how wrong they were, the moment that they die.

6) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
If Christ was still in the grave, all the saved would mope.
But, Christ arose in victory, there on the third day.
His Death and His Resurrection, opened Heaven's way.

7) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
Christ, The Life, The Truth, The Way; not preacher, priest, or Pope.
There's none righteous, all have sinned, there before The Lord.
For His Word is sharper than any two edged sword.

8) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
Sin is like an icy hill, in its slippery slope.
Believe on Christ, Whom God did send, it's what He requires.
Those refusing, headed for, Eternal Lake of fire.

9) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
Just like reaching there for straws, the unsaved, there grope.
Reaching for things to their heart, in their pride and will;
That hole that is in their heart, only Christ, can fill.

10) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
Your righteousness as filthy rags, as rotten cantaloupe.
Your sins stench, it reaches Heaven, overflows to Hell.
Hell's sulphur, a thick, dark flame; nauseating smell.

11) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
Unlike sneaky marriage there, you cannot elope.
You will answer for your sins, in a life, on trial.
No guilt question, pardon, mercy, or chance of denial.

12) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
But, The Lord sees everything, in His Righteous Scope.
Before Him, at the Bema Seat; or at Great White Throne.
Whether they did choose Christ's Blood, their sins to atone.

13) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
Your meeting there with The Lord, you cannot say ''Nope!!''.
An appointment all will keep, none can get away.
At death, it is Christ, or you; your sin debt, to pay.

14) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
For the saved, in The Church Age, they have ''The Blessed Hope''.
Christ will Rapture all the saved, in every land and Nation.
Alive and dead, in Christ all, miss Great Tribulation.

15) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
Though evil seems to have its way, there is joy and hope.
One day, Justice will be done, Christ will reign, and rule.
All who said "there is no God", they see they're the fool.

16) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
All believing Satan's lie, they see they were dopes.
They preferred a life of sin, loving Satan's spell.
They see their pride does no good, in the fires of Hell.

17) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
Salvation, each soul must choose; if nothing's done, it's ''Nope''.
Yet, God is a Gentleman, every soul, must choose.
No matter whether rich or poor; Gentiles, or Jews.

18) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
Best to be a fool for Christ; than stay in sin, a dope.
It is God's creation there, and it is His Rules.
You can lie to everyone, but Christ, you can't fool.

19) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
If in life, you have found that, you're at end of rope.
No matter what you've done in life, all sins can be forgiven.
If you'll repent, Believe on Christ, the only way to Heaven.

20) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
With Christ as your Savior, Lord, you have eternal hope.
Eye hasn't seen, ear hasn't heard, or entered in one's heart;
The joys God prepared for those, who've loved Him from the start.

21) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
If you die without The Lord, you will have no hope;
Of pardon, appeal, mercy, at The Great White Throne.
Your cast into The Lake of Fire, as one He's never known.

22) If it weren't for prophecy, the saved would have no hope.
What you do with Jesus Christ, sets your Eternal scope.
Either with eternal joy, happiness in sight;
Or eternal agony, tormented day and night.
