Repent To God Upon His Terms, And You Won't Be Refused

Repent To God Upon His Terms, And You Won't Be Refused

Based on the Gospel Invitation By Dave Hubley

Written By Daryl Stout

1) Folks think Heaven's owed to them, the moment that they die.
Or that works, church membership, get home in the sky.
But to all of these folks there, I have different news.
Repent to God upon His Terms, and you won't be refused.

2) Your righteousness as filthy rags, there before The Lord.
For His Word is sharper than any two edged sword.
Any way but Christ alone, you are sure to lose.
Repent to God upon His Terms, and you won't be refused.

3) To destruction, wide the path, and broad is the way.
At your death, it's Christ, or you; your sin debt to pay.
Faiths, religions are worldwide, with their many views.
Repent to God upon His Terms, and you won't be refused.

4) God's Standard is Perfection, and none on Earth can pay.
Except for Christ, the King Of Kings, The Truth, The Life, The Way.
No amount of wealth can pay, the cost of your sins dues.
Repent to God upon His Terms, and you won't be refused.

5) Available, not automatic, is Salvation's Gift.
Your sin burden, so heavy, Christ does want to lift.
But, He will not force you there; each soul there must choose.
Repent to God upon His Terms, and you won't be refused.

6) Whether you are old or young, an adult or youth.
You can know Eternal Life; for God's Word is Truth.
Don't listen to Satan, friend; of sins, he'll accuse.
Repent to God upon His Terms, and you won't be refused.

7) Salvation's Path, it's easy there, just as ABC.
Admit, Believe, Call On Christ, all done truthfully.
The word Gospel, for mankind, truly means ''Good News''.
Repent to God upon His Terms, and you won't be refused.

8) First, admit to God, you know, you can't, your soul, save.
Hell or Heaven awaits all, not just an in ground grave.
That you are a sinner there, and can't pay its dues.
Repent to God upon His Terms, and you won't be refused.

9) Next, toward sin, you change your mind; as you there, repent.
The one thing God requires, ''Believe On Christ, He Sent''.
So simple in childlike faith, not to be confused.
Repent to God upon His Terms, and you won't be refused.

10) Then, believe Christ, on The Cross, died there in your place.
And rose again on The Third Day, victory, Amazing Grace.
Salvation's Gift for everyone, Gentiles and the Jews.
Repent to God upon His Terms, and you won't be refused.

11) No matter what your background is, or what sins you've done.
Forgiveness there in Precious Blood, from Christ, God's Dear Son.
Christ knocks there at your hearts door; please don't Him, refuse.
Repent to God upon His Terms, and you won't be refused.

12) Yet, God is a Gentleman, He'll let you go your way.
Into Heaven, Jesus Christ, He is The Only Way.
Eternally, belief on Christ, you surely, won't lose.
Repent to God upon His Terms, and you won't be refused.

13) Tomorrow promised to no one, you could die tonight.
After death, there is no chance, to make the choice right.
You'll regret eternally, if Christ you refuse.
Repent to God upon His Terms, and you won't be refused.

14) For it's God's Creation there, and it is His Rules.
Those who say ''There Is No God'', The Lord calls them ''Fools''.
Spiritually, all these dead; and they have the blues.
Repent to God upon His Terms, and you won't be refused.

15) Before your death, everyone, eternal choice, must make.
Deals with the Devil there, truly are all fake.
All who side with Satan there, eternally will lose.
Repent to God upon His Terms, and you won't be refused.

16) Default at your death is Hell, if you reject Christ.
For the saved are not their own, but bought with a price.
For The Gospel, Simple Truth, not of worthless clues.
Repent to God upon His Terms, and you won't be refused.
