2) The wages of sin, first manifest, when Abel was murdered by Cain.
Jealousy, envy, and raging emotions, were all part of his prideful gain.
His offering rejected by Almighty God, but Abel's accepted that day.
The firstborn of history, he did embark, on his treacherous, murderous way.
3) The wages of sin, the shortening of life, began on that day long ago.
The spectrum encompassed by death's awful curse, and by the shedding blood flow.
''The soul that sins, will die'', says The Lord, from pages of His Holy Word.
Sadly, that truth is ignored today, by those who think it's absurd.
4) The wages of sin, the penalty there, would have to, by shed blood, be paid.
Remission of sin, couldn't take place, without sacrifice that was made.
So, for many years, an animal slain, would pay for the sins that were done.
But, one day, the cost, would once and for all, be paid by the death of God's Son.
5) The wages of sin, yes, it is death, but God, did provide in His Love.
His Son, Jesus Christ, both God and Man, would leave Heaven's Home up above.
Born of a virgin, the Lamb Of God, perfect and sinless was He.
And, those alive, during that time, never dreamed what they would see.
6) The wages of sin, that physical death, endured by The Lord on The Cross.
In agony, crucified, that somber day, to pay for the sins of the lost.
But, on Easter morn, payback obtained, when Jesus Christ rose from the dead.
All mankinds sins, forever paid for, by His Precious blood that was shed.
7) The wages of sin, they won't be paid, on Rapture Day, very soon.
The Rapture Trumpet, when it does sound, whether at sun, or at moon.
For those dead in Christ, they will rise first, to meet Jesus there in the sky.
Those who are left, will then be changed, in twinkling of an eye.
8) The wages of sin, for everyone who, willingly God's Son reject.
Refusing Christ's Blood, The Judgment will fall, nothing to these souls protect.
For these who loved darkness more than the light, and all the sinful desires;
They'll suffer forever, torment won't end, in God's Righteous Lake Of Fire.
9) The wages of sin, are never reduced, for everyone living on Earth.
But, physical death, not really the end, if you've received The New Birth.
Turn and repent, from your sinful deeds, and ask Christ to save you today.
For He did defeat, both Hell and the Grave, and all will face Him one day.
