We Ought To Obey The Lord, Than The Words Of Men

We Ought To Obey The Lord, Than The Words Of Men

Based On Acts 5:20

Written By Daryl Stout

1) Mankind wants nothing there to do with Christianity.
Yet, they will regret their choice for all eternity.
The true followers of Christ, will declare again,
''We ought to obey The Lord, than the words of men.''

2) Satan, the god of this world, the father of all lies.
He, his demons, the unsaved, God's Words, they despise.
But, at the end of history, Christ, the battle, wins.
''We ought to obey The Lord, than the words of men.''

3) Those who live in Christ will suffer, persecution, there.
It seems for them that retribution, it is everywhere.
Yet, these words of righteousness, rise above the din;
''We ought to obey The Lord, than the words of men.''

4) The Lord sets up, and He removes, the kings of all the lands.
He's sovereign over His Creation, all in His Commands.
It's His Creation, and His Rules, from when life, did begin.
''We ought to obey The Lord, than the words of men.''

5) Far more will reject The Lord, than those who will repent.
For the one thing God requires, ''Believe On Christ, He Sent''.
But, all those who accept The Lord, Heaven's Gates, open.
''We ought to obey The Lord, than the words of men.''

6) Many legislative rules, there go against The Lord.
But, His Word is sharper than any two edged sword.
No matter how man twists the truth, putting on their spin;
''We ought to obey The Lord, than the words of men.''

7) One day, rule by mortal man, on Earth, will there, cease.
When Christ sets His Kingdom up, Millennium Of Peace.
All of mankind's wicked deeds, to history's dust bin.
''We ought to obey The Lord, than the words of men.''

8) At Bema Seat, or Great White Throne, before Christ, all will stand.
No matter what your background is, your gender, or your land.
At your death, who there will pay, the cost of all your sin??
''We ought to obey The Lord, than the words of men.''

9) Hell or Heaven, at your death, will be eternal place.
On what you did with God's Free Gift, of Amazing Grace.
Will you receive His Free Love Gift?? Or die in your sin??
''We ought to obey The Lord, than the words of men.''
