2) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
Most can't see that God will not, tolerate their sin.
Thinking they can fool The Lord, but He is not surprised.
For He knows, sees everything, with Omniscient Eyes.
3) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
Long before the Jewish Wedding, would commence, begin;
The prospective Groom would make, proposal to his bride.
Before her parents gathered there; her choice to decide.
4) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
If she refused, he'd go away, to not be seen again.
But, if she accepted him, they were betrothed, engaged.
The Groom would prepare a place, for their next life page.
5) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
Room added to his father's house, the work, would now, begin.
The groom's father checked the work, and he would decide,
When it was time there for the groom, to fetch his new bride.
6) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
The groom did not know the time, nor did all his friends.
Neither did the engaged bride, know when the groom would show.
To get his bride, and then to, his father's house, they'd go.
7) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
When the preparations done, the journey could begin.
Then ''Behold, The Bridegroom comes!!'', the midnight cry, did sound.
The moment they had waited for, had finally come around.
8) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
Music, gladness, cheering shouts, echoed through the din.
The groom had come to take his bride, to his father's home.
Now joined there as husband, wife; never more to roam.
9) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
After wedding, honeymoon, they are seen again.
Presented as couple now, there for all to see.
Both their lives are now as one, in a jubilee.
10) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
Admittance to the wedding feast, which would soon begin.
The wise ones ready for the cry, as they watched about.
The foolish ones were not ready, and they were locked out.
11) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
And, application spiritually, if they were born again.
Five wise virgins trimmed their lamps, were ready for the shout.
Five foolish ones did not do such, and they were locked out.
12) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
The foolish ones would plead in vain, to there, be let in.
The groom will say ''Depart from me, for you've I've never known''.
Christ will say this to the lost, from The Great White Throne.
13) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
And, this applies to Rapture Day, when Christ will come again.
With a shout and trumpet blast, to get His Church, His Bride.
The dead and alive and Christ, from here, or far and wide.
14) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
After Christ ascended there, back to His Home in Heaven;
He's been building for His Bride, for each soul, a place;
All who repented, and accepted, His Free Gift of Grace.
15) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
Just like the Jewish Wedding Feast, both now, and back then.
For the Father of The Groom, His Choice to decide;
When it's time there for The Groom, to go get His Bride.
16) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
Christ promised His Disciples that, He would come again.
With each passing day and second, that much closer, there.
And like the foolish virgins were, most won't be prepared.
17) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
Only those who've believed on Christ, who died for their sin.
Are taken at the Rapture Day, the others, left behind.
They thought they could fool The Lord, they're spiritually blind.
18) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
At Bema Judgment, for the saved, no talk of their sin.
But, rewards are gained and lost, for all eternity.
For The Precious Blood Of Christ, the sinners perfect plea.
19) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
After moment of your death, you cannot choose again.
God's Offer of Pardon, Grace, expires when you die.
After death, it is too late, there to Jesus, cry.
20) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
Christ can be your worst nightmare, or your forever friend.
''Believe On Christ, whom God did send''; the one thing He requires.
The only thing to save your soul, from The Lake Of Fire.
21) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
When you stand before The Lord, you will remember when,
You first heard The Gospel Truth, and how you did reply.
Accepting Christ as Your Lord, or Him, you did deny.
22) The wise and the foolish ones, both now, and back then.
Only Precious Blood of Christ, will wash away your sin.
Yet, God is a Gentleman, He'll let you have your way.
At your death, it's Christ, or you; your sin debt to pay.
